Julia Donner

Julia Donner (aka M.L.Rigdon) grew up in historic Galena, IL, USA, and spent most of her time in the museum of her aunt, who encouraged her interest in history and understood the need to cherish a dream. She started writing in secret in her teens and never stopped, merging it with her mother's encouragement to study theater and music, which led to performing in the Midwest, California and as far away as Austria. \n\nHer favorite genre is fantasy, but since she loves to read everything, she also writes contemporary, romance, and YA. (Yes, she knows you're supposed to stick to one genre but can't stop herself.) Rigdon has fourteen titles on Kindle as Donner, and nine as M.L. Rigdon, including the final book in the awarding winning SEASONS OF TIME trilogy. SEASONS OF WAR trilogy has begun with THE GRACARIN released in 10/19 and the following book, OUT OF THE SEA, scheduled for release in 2020.\n\nShe also assisted poet Mia Elkovsky Phoebus in the compilation of AN I NOT LEFT BEHIND and assisted Phoebus with WALKING THE DUNES WITH TENNESSEE WILLIAMS and the online poetry collection AND IF.\n\nDonner/Rigdon never forgot what it was like to write alone as a girl and is a happy member of Summit City Scribes. Concern for the failing educational system led her to develop Your Futures in Ink, a panel of local and regional authors, who go into schools to encourage students and answer questions about writing. \n\nTHE TIGRESSE AND THE RAVEN, first book in the regency Friendship Series, is an RWA contest finalist. The twelfth book in the series, TO JILT A CORINTHIAN will be followed by MORE THAN A MILKMAID, available now, followed by HERMIONE'S REVERIE in 2020.
